Indicação de concurso de artigos: “Food Environments and the Law” (Global Center for Legal Innovation on Food Environments — housed at the O’Neill Institute)

 

The Global Center for Legal Innovation on Food Environments — housed at the O’Neill Institute — is pleased to announce the 2025 edition of the student writing competition. We invite all eligible applicants to submit papers on the theme, “Food Environments and the Law.” Suggested topic areas include, but are not limited to, legal interventions employed for the regulation of food environments.

Eligibility

Submissions are welcome from applicants currently enrolled in their first law degree (J.D./LL.B. or equivalent) at law schools in Barbados, Brazil, Colombia, Ghana, Jamaica, Kenya, Mexico, South Africa,  Trinidad and Tobago, or Uganda.

 

Prizes and Opportunities

●      The winner(s) will be invited to participate in a paid two-month, full-time internship program at the O’Neill Institute in Washington, D.C.

●      The Global Center will cover the cost of the winner’s roundtrip economy airfare to and from Washington, D.C.

●      Winning papers will also be presented at Georgetown University Law Center and may be selected for publication on the website of the O’Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law.
